Collins, Imogene "Jean" (Cleveland)

Imogene “Jean” Collins, 79, of Cleveland, TN, passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at her home.

Jean was born in Cleveland on September 13, 1935 to the late Robert & Alice Collins. She was a member of the Charleston First Baptist Church. Jean worked for many years as a registered nurse and also as a local real estate agent. She loved to listen to gospel and bluegrass music. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Stewart, Janet Collins & Sharon Carden; and two brothers, Bobby Ray Collins and James W. “Buddy” Collins. 

She is survived by three sisters, Shelby Smith (Lamar), Linda Crittenden (J. B.) and Patsy Harris (Curtis); two brothers, Johnny Collins (Regina) and Tom Collins; many nieces and nephews; numerous other extended family members; and a host of special friends. 

The family is planning a private memorial service at a later date.

Companion Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
