Pastor Mitch McClure of Middle Valley Church of God, located at 1703 Thrasher Pike in Hixson, will speak on the topic, "Thankful for Jesus, The Hope of Heaven" in the 10:30 a.m. service this Sunday. This sermon is part of a special series of sermons based on the need for Christians and the church to give thanks to God. Many times the normal parts of life are ignored in relation to our thankfulness to God. Pastor McClure will lead the church in a time of prayer and Bible reading in the 6:30 p.m. service.
Each Wednesday at 7 p.m. classes are made available for all age groupings. At the present time, Pastor Mitch McClure is leading the congregation in a Bible study on 'I Am Who God Made Me'. A portion of the study will involve reviewing 'Altar Ego' by Craig Groeschel.
The community is invited to participate in all services of Middle Valley Church of God.
