Lookout Mountain Fellowship Of Christian Athletes Anniversary Celebration Will Be Monday

  • Tuesday, November 4, 2014
Fellowship of Christian Athletes will celebrate its national 60th anniversary on Monday. In 1954, Oklahoma high school basketball Coach Don McClanen headed a group of national leaders and professional athletes to charter FCA.

Just over 10 years ago, the Lookout Mountain FCA Chapter was founded to serve the student-athletes, coaches and schools of Walker, Catoosa, Dade and Chattooga counties.
Greg Spradlin was called as the Area Director, later adding wife, Dinna, as Female Ministry Representative.

FCA staff, leadership board members, coaches and volunteers will celebrate the national milestone and local influence with a ribbon cutting.

The public is invited to drop by the FCA Office at 63 Pin Oak Drive, Rock Spring, for the 1 p.m. ribbon cutting and refreshments from 12:30-4:30 p.m.
