James Earl Middlebrooks, 71, of Trenton, GA, died early Friday evening December 12, 2014 at a Chattanooga Hospital.
He worked at Crawley Furniture Co. in Trenton, GA until it closed and worked at various saddle shops in the area until he retired. He was of the Baptist faith and attended White Oak Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Minnie Brown Middlebrooks; daughter, Donna Jean Middlebrooks; and brothers, Donald Ray Middlebrooks and Thomas William Middlebrooks.
Survivors include his brother, Billy (Brenda) Middlebrooks of Bridgeport, AL; sisters, Linda Earlene Haun of Trenton, GA and Margaret (Howard) Gilbert of Grove Oak, AL; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, December 14, in the chapel with Rev. Chris Hagler officiating. Interment will follow in Davis Town Cemetery near Section, AL.
Family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. on Saturday, December 13 and from 11 a.m. until service time Sunday, December 14 at Ryan Funeral Home, Trenton, GA, who has charge of the arrangements.
