Two teens have been charged with back-to-back holdups on Rossville Boulevard.

Wayne Caudle, 19, and Armond Dews, 18, are charged with aggravated robbery and attempted robbery.

Police said they robbed the Dollar General in Rossville last Friday.

On Saturday, they were arrested after an attempted robbery at the Subway at 3416 Rossville Blvd.

In the latest incident, a female clerk said she saw a black male walk past the front door with his head down in a red hoodie. She said she then saw that he was wearing a white surgical mask across his face. He was later identified as Caudle.

An officer responded and spotted a man wearing a red hoodie and a white surgical mask standing behind a pillar in front of Subway. The officer saw a second person (identified as Dews) standing behind a nearby pillar and also wearing a red hoodie and white surgical mask.

When the pair saw the police, they ran toward a stolen red Chevrolet Suburban, but both were apprehended.

Police found a black BB gun near the Subway where Caudle had been standing.

Rossville Police said in the Dollar General holdup that one had on a red hoodie and both had surgical masks.

Police said a red Suburban was used in both robberies.
