Michael “Mike” Brown, 55, of LaFayette, GA, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2014.
He was a member of the Old Way Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by mother, Freida May Hendon Lanier.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Brown of LaFayette; father and step-mother, Buford (Faye) Brown of Soddy Daisy; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy (Wade) Gilreath of Chickamauga; son and daughter-in-law, Joey (Julie) Hall of Gainesville, GA; grandchildren, Anna Hall, Ethan Hall and Emily Gilreath; sister, Annette Young of Augusta, GA; sisters-in-laws and brothers-in-law, Anita (Max) Colbert of LaFayette, Sue Miller of LaFayette and Carolyn (Michael) Applegate of Trion; and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, December 19 from 6-9 p.m.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Old Way Baptist Church to the St. Jude Children Hospital Fund.
