Dianne Pearson, 60, of Dalton, GA, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Memorial Hospital after a long battle with breast cancer.
She was preceded in death by her father, J.C. Morrison, Sr.; one brother and sister-in-law, J.C. Morrison, Jr and Lee Morrison; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Willard and Marie Pearson and brother-in-law, J.B. Harrell.
She was a member of Deep Springs Baptist Church. Dianne was an American Cancer Society Survivor, an award winner, and counseled many women who recently found out that they had breast cancer and ministered to numerous people.
She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, David Pearson of the residence; two daughters and sons-in-law, Angie and Jon Nebriaga and Maranda and Adam Reed, all of Dalton; one son, Eric Pearson of Chatsworth; mother, Rosie Morrison of Dalton; two sisters and brother-in-law, Stella Harrell and Laura and Waymon Kile, all of Dalton; brother and sister-in-law, David and Darlene Morrison; grandchildren, Cameron Yates, Makayla Nebriaga, Austin and Logan Pearson, Caleb, Cody, Alyssa and Aubriana Reed; nieces and nephews; and special friends, George and Vicki Ward.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, December 18, at 2:30 p.m. at Deep Springs Baptist Church with Dr. Dale Kidd and Dr. Steven Pearson officiating. Burial will be at Grove Level Cemetery. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, December 18 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
