Parker, Harold "Hal"

Harold (Hal) Parker, 75, of Chattanooga, died on December 16, 2014, at his home.

Hal was born March 12, 1939, in Summerville, Ga., to Arnold and Maude (Phillips) Parker, who preceded him in death.

Retired as Lieutenant Colonel from the U.S. Army after 20 years of service, Hal enjoyed spending time with his friends at "the office", where he was affectionately referred to as "The Colonel", and where he will be dearly missed.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Andy (Cheryl) Parker of Lookout Mountain; brother, Jim Parker of Port St. Lucie, Fl.; nephew, Tim (Manya) Parker and daughters, Darby and Chloe; Tonya Parker, all of Atlanta.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 22, in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery with full military honors.
