Shadden, Harold (Johnson City)

Harold Shadden, 73, of Johnson City, TN, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Johnson City Medical Center.

Harold was born on May 16, 1941 in Birchwood, TN to the late William Henry and Gladys Shadden. He enjoying detailing cars, hunting, fishing and watching NASCAR.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Reba Shadden; one son, Wayne Shadden; and two brothers, Ruben "Cotton" Shadden and Kenneth Shadden. 

Harold is survived by one brother and his wife, J.T. & Shirley Shadden; one sister, Emma Jean Hixson; two sisters-in-law, Bobbie Shadden and Icyle Shadden; several step-children; nieces & nephews; and numerous other extended family members and friends. 

A celebration of his life is planned for Sunday, December 28 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW in Cleveland, TN with Rev. Keith Watson and Rev. Richard Watson officiating.  Interment will follow in the McInturff Cemetery with Bradley Bacon, Gregg Bacon, Jeff Shadden, Brent Shadden, Brian Stevenson and David Stevenson serving as casket bearers.

The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel on Sunday, December 28 from 1-3 p.m.

Companion Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
