Jeffery Jerome Barbare, 54, of LaFayette, Georgia, died on Saturday, December 27, 2014, at Floyd Medical Center.
Mr. Barbare was born Nov. 13, 1960, in Dalton, son of the late Cleveland and Lena Mann Barbare. He was a member of the Solid Rock Baptist Church and was employed with Bill’s Heating and Cooling.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Buck Barbare, Mike Barbare, and Freddie Barbare; and a sister, Joyce Ferguson.
Mr. Barbare is survived by his son, Preston Scott Barbare; brothers, Vernon Barbare and Harold Barbare; sisters, Sue Woodard and Bobby Thompson; grandchildren, Katie Johnson and Shane Buzan.
Funeral services for Mr. Barbare will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 30, at the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Hayes officiating. Interment will follow in the Ridgeway Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Richard Sims, Josh Hurley, Shannon Keen, Tim Winters, Lamar Mann, and James Hayes.
Mr. Barbare will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from noon until the hour of service on Tuesday.
