Sheriff's Office Investigating Stolen Truck And Credit Cards In East Brainerd

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division is investigating a crime on Dec. 15, where a Ford F150 Pickup was stolen on Shallowmeade Lane in the East Brainerd area. 

After the truck was stolen, the offender found the victim’s credit cards in the truck and made several purchases at restaurants and convenience stores on Shallowford Road and 23rd Street, Chattanooga.  Additionally, the final purchase was made at the Mapco at Highway 153 and Hamill Road.

Video surveillance footage from Dec.

15, at 1:52 a.m. was obtained from the Mapco, and it shows the suspect pulling onto the lot in the stolen truck and entering the store to make a purchase. The video still shows the suspect, who appeared to be a short male having dark complexion, wearing a camouflage jacket and a blue striped shirt.

Anyone who can identify the suspect is urged to contact the Criminal Investigation Division of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office at  423 209-8940.
