Chattanooga's Milner Milling Purchases Cereal Food Processors

Milner Milling and Pendleton Flour Mills have an agreement to purchase Cereal Food Processors, headquartered in Mission Woods, Ks., creating the third largest flour milling company in the United States.  

The transaction details were not disclosed, and the name of the newly created company will be announced at a later date. 

Combining two of the nation’s top independent flour milling companies, the new company will serve customers in the baking and food industries across the country.

The formation of the newly combined companies is expected to be completed during the spring of 2014, following regulatory clearances.

Milner Milling and Pendleton Flour Mills were advised by FourBridges Capital Advisors (Investment Banking) and Sutherland Asbill & Brennan (legal). Cereal Food Processors was advised by William Blair & Company (Investment Banking) and Foulston Siefkin (legal).
