Raymond Arlen Richardson, 75 of Rossville, died on Thursday, March 27, 2014.

He was a lifelong resident of North Georgia and was of the Baptist faith. Raymond served his country in the U.S. Air Force and retired from Erlanger after 17 years of employment in 2006. Raymond was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother who will be missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ishmael L. and Vina Alice Little Richardson; daughter, Deborah Richardson; and granddaughter, Chrystal Coates.

Raymond is survived by his wife, of 55 years, Juanell Carbine Richardson; daughters, Diedra Elkins of Hixson and Sonya Coates of Chickamauga; sister, Betty Sue (David) Watson of Apison; brothers, John (Betty) Richardson, Howard (Bernice) Richardsonboth of Rossville, and Nolan (Delores) Richardson of Fort Oglethorpe; grandchildren, Tommy, Justin, Jessica, and Jennifer; great-grandchildren, Donavan, Sam, Trey and Will; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 31, in the funeral home chapel, with Reverend Ron Perry officiating. Interment will follow in Tennessee Georgia Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday, March 30, and prior to the service on Monday.

Arrangements are by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe.
