Kristopher Gore Raises $50,000 For State House Campaign

  • Thursday, April 3, 2014

Iraq War veteran Kristopher Gore has brought in more than $50,000 in donations for his campaign for the Tennessee House in District 43 in the first quarter.

“The grassroots support we’ve seen pour in from all three counties in the district has been nothing short of phenomenal.” said Mr. Gore, a Democrat.

Mr. Gore was deployed with the Tennessee Army National Guard, Troop E 2/278 ACR, for a tour of duty in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom and plans to continue serving in the National Guard as state representative.  As part of his National Guard service he also did border security work on the Mexico border.  His wife Ashli is a public school teacher in Warren County. The McMinnville couple have two daughters.

“Returning home from Iraq filled me with an even deeper love of my community," said Mr. Gore. "More than ever, I am committed to being of service to the people around me. I believe the best place to make a difference for local families is in the State House of Representatives."
