Vacation Bible School June 1-6 At Christ United Methodist

  • Thursday, May 22, 2014

Vacation Bible School will be held June 1-6, at Christ United Methodist Church, 8645 East Brainerd Road.  Evening: Sunday-Thursday, 6:30-8:30 p.m.; Morning: Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-noon.

At Weird Animals VBS, kids discover that Jesus’ love is one-of-a-kind. Weird Animals is a habitat filled with Bible-learning experiences kids see, hear, touch, and even taste.  Sciency-Fun Gizmos, team-building games, Bible songs, and treats are just a few of the activities that help faith flow into real life.

Since everything is hands-on, kids might get a little messy. Be sure to send them in play clothes and safe shoes.  Kids discover how to see evidence of God in everyday life – God Sightings.

Parents, grandparents, and friends are invited to join us in the "Tail End" Friends section each day/evening 30 minutes prior to dismissal.  That’s when there will be a daily celebration of Jesus’ love.

Register your children for this adventure with the church.

The Ladies Supper Club for women over 50 will meet Tuesday, June 3 at 6 p.m. at J. Alexanders at Hamilton Place. Reservations are necessary. Call Ann Boleman at 423-855-870.
