Woman Pleads Guilty On $100,000 Embezzlement From East Ridge Lending Firm

A former bookkeeper at an East Ridge lending firm has pleaded guilty to embezzling $100,000.

Kimberly Hyler Stone, 43, was given a suspended 10-year sentence on a plea to theft of property.

Prosecutor Lance Pope said she made an initial payment of $27,000 toward restitution to the Koger and Williams firm.

He said she would make monthly payments of $450.

She will also be required to perform public service days.

Ms. Stone was arrested last April 29.
