A woman from North Dakota was arrested after police say she helped attack a man and tied him up with duct tape in order to rob him.

Chattanooga resident William Lowe had gotten a room at the Motel 6 for himself and a woman he only knew as "Whitney" on March 26.

He told police that she left the hotel room for a short time before returning with another man. Mr. Lowe said the man was wearing a dark hoody and a ski mask.

According to police, the unknown man started beating Mr.

Lowe while "Whitney" tied him to a chair using duct tape.

Mr. Lowe said the pair took his wallet, phone, and car keys before driving away in his car.

Later that day, Mr. Lowe identified the woman as 27-year-old Whitney King, out of a police lineup and she was finally caught and arrested on May 26.

Ms. King is scheduled to appear before Judge Lila Statom on June 3.
