17-Year-Old Shot In The Leg On 10th Avenue

Another shooting was reported early Friday morning.

At approximately 12:53 this morning, Chattanooga Police responded to 4205 10th Ave. for a person shot. 

Upon arrival, officers located a 17-year-old black male suffering from a gunshot wound to his right leg.  The victim stated that he was shot by unknown suspects while walking on 10th Avenue. 

The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of the non-life threatening injury.

Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this crime to please call 423 698-2525.  The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
