Stephen Wesley Wilson, 67, of LaFayette, GA, died Saturday, June 28, 2014.
He was a member of New Harvest Baptist Church; and was preceded in death by his parents, Julian and Johnnie Wilson; a brother, Bud Wilson; and a grandson, Damon Johnson.
Mr Wilson is survived by his wife, Pat Wilson, of LaFayette; daughters, Christina (Russ) Pangle, of Varnell, GA and Stephanie (Doug) Johnson, of LaFayette; sons, Stefan (Summer) Wilson and Rodney Wilson, all of LaFayette; sisters, Janice Mills and Doris Wilson, both of LaFayette; brother and sister-in-law, Don (Darlene) Wilson, of Cartersville, GA; nine grandchildren, Amber, Rodney Jr, and Brandon Wilson, Dustin, Derrick, Ashley, Dillion and Megan Johnson and Tyler Pangle; great- grandchildren, Jayden Wilson, Kristopher Wilson, Bella Ledford, Peyton Wilson, Hayden Wilson, Abby Johnson, Calob Anderson, Callie Anderson, Valorie Johnson and Daylon Kaiser; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Wallis Memorial Chapel will be Wednesday, July 2, at 2 p.m. Service to be conducted by Rev. Johnny Stephens. Interment will follow in Naomi Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be, Russ Pangle, Ronnie Hopkins, Michael Penson, Sr., R.J. Hughes and Ryan Broome. Honoary Pallbearers will be Rickey Cameron and Johnny Stephens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, July 1, from 6-9 p.m.
