Jamie Shawn Cook
Jamie Shawn Cook, 30, of East Ridge, died on Thursday, July 10, 2014.
He was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and North Georgia areas and was of the Baptist faith. He graduated from Lakeview High School and loved the outdoors, whether it was fishing or just being on the water.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Haywood Cook and aunt, Peggy Deli.
Survivors include his mother, Diane Cook of East Ridge; father, Scotty Cook of Florida; stepfather, Robert Hoskins; his two sons, Aidan Cook, who was the light of his life and Brantley Major; brother, Scotty Hoskins of Rossville; sister, friend and confidant, Rachel Miller of East Ridge; grandmothers, Linda Smith and Lolly Bellamy, both of Florida and two special friends, Josh Madrano and Jenna Baldwin.
Services will be private, but the family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 15, from 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home in Fort Oglethorpe.
