Robbie Ruena Brown, 55, died on August 10, 2014 at Emory Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.

She was a graduate of Howard High School.  She was employed with ACE Hardware.  She enjoyed praising GOD and helping others.  She attended services at Salvation Army and Friendship Community Church.

She was preceded in death by her brother, John Eric (Rodearner) Henderson and friend, Mildred.

Survivors include her husband, Curtis Brown; parents, Willie Maxine Henderson and Robert McClendon; children, Sherrina Brown, Tasharra Green, Misti Nash, Kevin Green, Curtis Brown, Jr. and Aaron Brown; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; siblings, Estella Henry, Ollie (Billy) Forte, Evelyn Taylor, Charles Lockhart Nash, Jr., William Nash, Allen Nash.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 20, in the Chapel with Elder Lebron Hawkins. Interment will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.

The body will lie in state after noon on Tuesday, Aug. 19, at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave.,  622-9995.
