Evelyn Goins Denton, 95, of Cleveland, TN, passed away Friday, August 15, 2014, in a local health care facility.
She was a native of Cleveland and a member of North Cleveland Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd J. Denton; parents, Austin and Jennie Parks Goins; son, Charles D. Denton; two brothers, John F. and William A. Goins; sister, Ruby Duncan; and two daughters-in-law, Janette Denton and Betty Denton.
She is survived by her two sons, Paul Denton of Cleveland and James Denton of Flovilla, GA; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, August, 18, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Wickes officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens, concluding with a white dove release ceremony.
