Richard Headrick
Richard L. Headrick, 63, of Chickamauga, Georgia, died on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at his home.
He was a U. S. Army veteran and attended Community Baptist Church. He was an employee of Headrick’s Garage for over 30 years and had attended Rossville High School. He was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished son and beloved brother. His body gave up, but he never did.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Dawn Headrick, son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Rieko Headrick, son, Brandon Headrick and daughter, Brittany (Alex Angel) Headrick, grandchildren, Taiyo Headrick and Rian Headrick, parents, James and Adlee Headrick, brother, Mick Headrick and sisters, Patty (Robert) Powell and Melissa Headrick and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 2, at noon in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Angel officiating. Burial will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery where military honors will be observed.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, Aug. 31, from 2-6 p.m., and Monday, Sept. 1, from 4-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory at the end of Historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
