Nancy Kinder Maddux Branam, 66, of Cleveland, TN, passed away Saturday, August 2, 2014 in a local hospital.
She was of the Baptist faith. Nancy was described by her family as a deeply loving, courageous, strong individual; she always demonstrated unconditional love toward them all. She loved to dance and be around her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, they were her pride and joy.
She was preceded in death by her son, Mark Alexander Maddux; parents, John H. and Mary Ruth Kinder; and siblings, Joan Southerland, Patsy Poteat, Sarah Kinder, Mary Linda Kinder, Richard Kinder, James Kinder and Ralph “Buster” Kinder.
Survivors include her sons, David “Jackie” Maddux and wife Lela, John Maddux, Paul “Nick” Maddux and wife Misti; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, John Kinder; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 5, in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with Dr. Jamison Work officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with grandsons, Mark Maddux, Anthony Maddux, Alex Maddux, Andrew Maddux, Gaven Kinder and Jon Dale serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
Her family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Monday, August 4, at the Fike Funeral Home, who has charge of the arrangements.
