Lookouts Shutout By Smokies

The Chattanooga Lookouts fell to the Knoxville Smokies on Thursday night by a score of 3-0. The Lookouts could muster only three hits on the evening, all of which were singles. The loss moves them to 16-14 on the season while they do remain in first place in the division.

Jose Acuna took the tough luck loss while allowing only one run. He moves to 4-2 on the season and continues to sport a sub 2 earned run average. Third baseman Sal Stewart was the lone bright spot offensively as he collected two hits.

Saturday night is Star Wars Night against the Smokies and then the two teams will conclude the series on Sunday afternoon.
