The Collegedale Police Department invites the community to join them for the 2025 National Night Out celebration on Tuesday, Aug. 5 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at Collegedale City Hall, 4910 Swinyar Dr. in Collegedale.
"National Night Out is a nationwide event designed to strengthen police-community partnerships and promote neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live," officials said.
This year’s event will feature:
- Police, Fire, and EMS demonstrations;
- Appearances by the Tennessee Trucker’s Association;
- Activities and fun for the kids;
- Displays from the Tennessee Highway Patrol; and
- Engagement opportunities with local businesses.
“This event is a great way for families and neighbors to connect with the men and women who serve our community every day,” said Chief Jack Sapp.
“We hope to see everyone there enjoying the fun and building stronger community bonds.”
Attendees are encouraged to bring the whole family and enjoy a night of food, fun and fellowship with first responders and fellow community members.
Parking will be available at the Collegedale Commons.
