Kathleen "Kathy" Clara Russell DeHart Jones
Kathleen "Kathy" Clara Russell DeHart Jones, was born on November 2, 1939, and passed away peacefully at home on July 10, 2025, with her devoted husband and beloved dog by her side.
A graduate of Central High School, Kathy worked as a hairdresser in her early years. She later owned DeHart trucking company with Wayne DeHart until her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Edna Holland Russell McDaniel; siblings Glenda (Tom) Puckett, Judy Russell, and Johnny Russell; daughter Sandy Blankenship; grandson Andrew Lemons; great-grandson Jaxon Pike; along with her cherished dogs Lucy, Chico, and Snowball—who surely welcomed her into heaven.
Kathy is survived by her loving husband, Larry Jones, who faithfully cared for her in their home; son Kenneth (Rusty) Lemons; grandchildren Ashley Pike, Amber and Adam Swindall; great-granddaughter Payton Pike; great-grandson Gaebriel Swindall; nieces Brandy Russell, Kay (Mark) Johnson, and Tina Gill Davis; nephews Clay (Michelle) Howell and Clint Howell; several great nieces and great nephews, special cousins and extended family members.

The family will receive friends on July 21, from 4-6 p.m. at Lane Funeral Home and Crematory South Crest Chapel.
A service will follow at 6 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with Chaplain Ricky Studdard officiating.
