Driver Of Refrigerated Box Truck Critically Injured On I-24

The driver of a refrigerated box truck was critically injured in a wreck on Interstate 24 on Friday evening.

At approximately 5:20 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to a serious injury traffic crash at 17700 Interstate 24.

Officers located a refrigerated box truck on its side.

The driver suffered severe lacerations during the crash and was transported to a local hospital by HCEMS.

Investigators are working to determine the cause of the crash.
