Claude Ralph Womac, 79, of Ten Mile, TN, died on Monday, September 15, 2014 at his residence.
Claude attended New Hopewell Baptist Church. He was a member of the V.F.W., 39ers Club, and IBEW local 1323. He retired from T.V.A and served our country in the U.S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl A. Womac and Lena Mae Casteel Womac; wife, Joyce Rockholt Womac; brothers, Larry Womac and Robert Womac; and two infant brothers.
He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Claudia and Carl Voyles, of Athens and Darlene and Ted Krouse, of Ten Mile; brother, Thomas Womac, of Athens; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be at Beta Cemetery 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 17. Pallbearers will be grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
