Gildenmeister, Mildred "Millie" Ana

Gildenmeister, Mildred "Millie" Ana (nee Quester) of Chattanooga passed away September 18, 2014.

Born in Lorain, Ohio to Otto and Pauline Quester, Millie was the youngest of three girls.  Millie graduated from Lorain High School and attended The Ohio State University.  She and Richard raised their family in Amherst, Ohio and moved to Chattanooga in 1972, where she has resided since. 

Her husband of 63 years, Richard, and sisters, Irene Clarke and Audrey Richards, along with her parents and son-in-law, Thomas R. Parnell, Jr. precede her in death.

She is survived by her son, Richard Gildenmeister of Phoenix, Arizona; her daughter, Dixie Parnell of Chattanooga; and her granddaughter, Tiffany Parnell of Chattanooga. 

The family will celebrate Millie's life during a Funeral Mass scheduled for Friday, Sept. 26, at 6:30 p.m., at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Chattanooga.
