Brentwood Upends Baylor 3-1 In Division IIAA Soccer

The Brentwood Academy girls soccer team kept their unblemished record in tack Tuesday night as they beat Baylor 3-1.  Baylor improves to 10-0 on the season.  Baylor is now 3-8-1.  

Brentwood's Katherine Tyner ( BA) scored off an assist from Katherine Wilson to open the scoring. 

In the 27th minute, Darryn Hammond (BA) scored off an assist from Mayce McKay.

Baylor's Lainee Bohannon got the Red Raiders on the board in the 37th minute, scoring off an assist from Katelyn Smith to cut the lead 2-1.

Brentwood led 2-1 at the half. 

At the 53rd minute, Darryn Hammond (BA) scored off an assist from Katherine Tyner.

It ended 3-1 for Brentwood Academy.

"We made three crucial mistakes and Brentwood Academy punished us for them,"  Baylor head coach Curtis Blair said.  "That's what good teams do. I thought we played with a lot of intensity and were focused for our match. We just eliminate the crucial mistakes and we are close. We created some great chances and just have to find a way to finish them."
