Barbara Lawson Lovern, 66, of Birchwood, TN, passed away Monday, September 22, 2014 in a local hospital.
She was the daughter of the late J.L Ramsey and Louise Neely Gray; and was also preceded in death by a sister, Cindy Gray; and a nephew, Frankie Wilhoite.
She was of the Church of God faith.
She is survived by her children, Traci Foote and her husband Marty, Robin Higdon and her husband Jimmy all of Birchwood, Arthur Lawson of Birchwood, Jeff Lawson of Cleveland and James Lawson of Birchwood; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; her brothers, Mose Ramsey and his wife Tiny of Chattanooga, Toad Ramsey of Cleveland and Adam Gray of Georgia; her sisters, Kathy Wilhoite of Cleveland, Eva Gray of Georgia, Bernice Ramsey of Cleveland and Joan Ramsey of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.
A Remembrance of Life service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, September 26 at the Wildwood Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Rev. Ronnie Davis officiating. The interment will follow in the Johnston Cemetery with Jamey Higdon, Jeff Thomas, Bo Ramsey, Mark Ramsey, Franklin Shell and Joey Barbee serving as casket bearers.
The family will receive friends Friday, September 26 from 12-3 p.m. at the Jim Rush Funeral Home, who has charge of the arrangements.
