Hamilton County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a robbery in progress at The Mapco store at 8604 North Hickory Valley Road at 3:20 a.m. on Sunday.
Units arrived within three minutes. As deputies arrived, the suspect came out of the store, and after a short foot pursuit the suspect was taken into custody.
HSCO Criminal Investigation detectives are handling the investigation. As the investigation proceeds more information will be released.
