Rutledge, Janice Sue Watkins (Cleveland)

Janice Sue Watkins Rutledge, 68, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away at her home on Sunday, October 4, 2015.

Janice was born on Feb. 10, 1947 to the late Joseph Watkins and Dora Kelly. She was greatly loved by all that knew her and will be dearly missed. 

In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Rutledge; and her brother, Bobby Watkins. 

Janice is survived by two sons, Michael Rutledge and wife Erica and Steve Rutledge and companion Stephanie Dillard; grandchildren, Kailan, Kendall, Trent, Callie, Cory and Autum; two great-grandchildren, Rylie and Saige; numerous other extended family members; and a host of special friends. 

The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, Oct. 7 from 6-9 p.m. at Companion Funeral Homelocated at 2419 Georgetown Road NW. 

A celebration of life funeral service is planned for 12 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 8 in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home. There will also be an hour of visitation prior to the service, from11 a.m.-12 p.m. Interment will follow the service in the Chattanooga National Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with her husband.
