The Chattanooga State Fine Arts Department will close out 2015 with a combination of musical and theatrical productions during December. All performances will be held in the C.C. Bond Humanities Theatre on Chattanooga State’s main campus. Programs are free and open to the public.

The Chattanooga State Music Department will present “Carols, Candy Canes, Cookies and Hot Cocoa” on Wednesday, Dec. 2 at 6:30 p.m. in the Sculpture Garden.  Guests are invited to join the festivities, stroll through the brightly lit trees, and enjoy holiday melodies sung by the Music Department.
At 7:30 p.m., the event will move indoors for a Holiday Concert presented by the Chattanooga State Concert Choir and Symphonic Band, with selections by music faculty and students.

Directed by Sherry Landrum, “Scenes from the plays of Anton Chekhov,” will be presented by second
year students of the Professional Actor Training Program on Friday, Dec. 4 at 7:30 p.m. Chekhov, a
Russian physician, renowned short story author and playwright, produced works that explore the entire
range of the human spirit.

The final theatrical performance for 2015 will be held Tuesday, Dec. at 7:30 p.m. “Scenes from American Life” will be presented by first year students of the Professional Actor Training Program. Also directed by Sherry Landrum, this play includes adult content.
