Vernon F. Norris, 89, of Chattanooga died on February 22, 2015 at his home.
He was born on Nov. 18, 1925, in Johnston County, N.C. to the late Seth and Mary Norris.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Norris, an infant daughter, and brothers, Joseph Norris and Victor Norris.
Survivors include his brothers, Robert Norris, Landis Norris and Gardner Norris and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Saturday, Feb. 28, from 4-6 p.m.
Graveside services will follow in Manhattan, Ks.
