Henry L. “Buddy” Stewart, 70, died peacefully on February 1, 2015. 

He was a retiree of Wheland Foundry and a self-made entrepreneur. He loved boating, traveling, fast cars and gardening. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alexander Taylor and Missouri Stewart; sisters, Dorothy Vine and Josie Cutwright.

He is survived by one daughter, Rosalyn Alexander; seven sons, Christopher Clark, Eric Stewart, Shaun Stewart, Chase Stewart, Torres Jackson, LeBron Jackson and Rodney Mills; 20 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; a multitude of brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday, Feb. 7, in the chapel. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery.

Visitation will be held two hours prior to services at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
