David Pope, 19, Shot On Orton Street

David Pope, 19, was shot on Orton Street on Tuesday night.

At approximately 10:13 p.m.,  the Chattanooga Police Department responded to a person shot at 2700 Orton St.

Officers located Pope suffering from a gunshot wound.

He was transported by Hamilton County EMS to a local hospital.

Prior to being transported, the victim was awake and alert. His injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.

Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this crime to call 423-698-2525.
