Charles S. Hart, 86, of Falling Water, died Thursday, March 19, 2015.

He was a longtime member and deacon of Union Springs Baptist Church prior to becoming a member of Falling Water Baptist Church. He was also retired from Combustion following 34 years of service.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Mae Brown Hart; brothers, Rex and George Hart; and sister, Glenna Joyce Burnette. 

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Katherine Kilgore Hart; son, Marvin (Shirley) Hart; daughters, Dean (James) Lewis, Trixie (Jay) Correll, and Jan (Randy) White. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving him as well are his brother, Eldon (Alice) Hart, and sisters Amy Shipley, Dolly (Phillip) Barnett, Peggy (James) Adams, Ruthie Barker and Dorothy Johnson. 

Services will be held on Sunday, March 22, at 2 p.m. at Williamson and sons Funeral Home chapel with Eldon Hart and Reverend Tommy Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. 

The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, March 21, from 4-8 p.m., and 1 p.m. on Sunday until time of service at the funeral home. 

The family would to thank Hospice of Chattanooga for their care and support during this time.
