The Dalton State women’s golf team will play Monday and Tuesday in the 54-hole Argonaut Women’s Invitational, hosted by the University of West Florida. The two day 14-team tournament will be played at Stonebrook Golf Club.

“We are looking forward to playing in the Lady Argonaut,” said Lady Roadrunner Coach Jim McGraw. “It will be a strong field with the top level NCAA D-II’s in the country.”

Fourteen teams are scheduled to compete.

In addition to Dalton State and the hosts from UWF. Scheduled participating teams are Emmanuel, Florida Southern, Florida Tech, Lee, Limestone, Ohio Valley, Union (TN), West Alabama and West Georgia.

“Our concerns right now are on polishing up our game and finding a way to stay focused for a complete tournament. This will be our first opportunity to play in a 36-hole tournament followed by 18-hole tournament. I am anxious to see how we handle playing 36 holes in one day. Hopefully this will continue to help us get ready for the conference tournament that is just three weeks away.”
