Aubrey Wood
Aubrey William Wood, Jr., 60, died on Monday, March 2, 2015 in a local health care facility, surrounded by his family.
Aubrey was a kind and loving father, grandfather and brother who will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He was a master auto mechanic and owned many auto repair shops.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Aubrey Wood, Sr. and Elizabeth Espy Wood; and sister, Patricia Payne.
Survivors include his daughter, Jeanne Griggs and husband, David; son, Robert Moore and wife, Donnette; grandchildren, Austin and Jodi Hardin, Robert and McClain Moore; siblings, Larry (Marcie) Wood, Jim (Jeanne) Espy, Maria (Ferris) Hart and David Wood; nephews, David Fairchild, Troy Fairchild, Danny Hart; niece, Rachel Wood; and several great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, in the Advantage Chapel with Pastor Ray Williams of One Accord Community Church officiating.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 2-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
