Willie Davis
Willie C. Davis, 57, died on March 21, 2015 at Health Center at Standifer Place.
He was born December 15, 1957 in Natchez, MS to the late Emma Davis and Jacob F. Davis. Willie received his formal education in the public school systems. He was employed with Smith Construction Company for over 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emma and Jacob Davis; two siblings, Belinda C. Davis and Patrick L. Davis; grandparents, John and Mary Davis, Willie and Ella Clark; two special uncles, Archie Clark and Charles Brown; aunts, cousins and a special nephew, Demetrius Davis.
Willie’s memories will be forever in the hearts of his devoted family which include his children, Nyeisha Bruce, Niesha La’Shay Colenburg, Rebecca Bridges and Kimberly Bridges; grandchildren, Paul Barnett III, and NaShun Barnett; three sisters, Joyce Shackleford, Sheila Davis, Mona Davis; uncles, aunts, a special sister friend, Harriet Witherow; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, April 4, at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Richard Smith Officiating. Interment will be in Tyner Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. until time of services on Saturday.
