Charles M. "Big Mike" Breneman, 72, of Hixson, died on Thursday, March 5, 2015.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Charles Homer and Ruth Breneman and a grandson, Conner Brackett.

He worked at BASF Corporation for 34 years where he loved his job and all of his friends at work.  Mike loved spending time with his family, enjoyed watching Braves Baseball and watching Vols football every Saturday.  He was a fan of Soddy Daisy football where he attended many games for many years until his health would no longer allow him to go.  He enjoyed his garden and his animals and loved to be outside.  If you met Big Mike you were his friend, as he was the nicest, kindest man and he would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need.  He will be deeply missed

Survivors include his loving wife, Eloise Breneman; children, Kellie (David) Theobald, Marietta, GA, Philip Breneman, Hixson, Angelique Brackett, Sale Creek, Josh (Allison) Wood, Hixson, Jon (Carrie) Wood, Hixson; and six beautiful grandchildren whom he loved dearly.
