Josephine "Dee Dee" Gomez Alterman, of Chattanooga, died on Monday, April 13, 2015.

Dee Dee was a longtime resident of the Chattanooga area. During her life she was known “The Voice That Ministers” singing in over 100 churches in the Chattanooga area. 

Dee Dee is survived by her three children, Chris Gomez and wife, Michelle, Kimberly Saldana and Christina Crackel; grandchildren, Alexandra and Giavana Saldana and Aaron Crackel; siblings, Joe Annichino and wife, Karen and Debbie Behling and husband, Peter; and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

A celebration of life service for Dee Dee will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 18, at Hamilton Memorial Gardens, Chapel of Devotion with Don Hanson presiding.

Immediately after the service, the family asks that you join us for a celebration of her life. We are having an Italian dinner at a family-owned store, The Gypsy Picker, 3701 Hixson Pike, Hixson, TN 37343. 

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
