Real Estate Investor Was Avid Pilot And U.S. Army Veteran

Calvin “Cal” C. Quinn, 78, of Harrison, died on Tuesday, April 21, 2015.

A native of Cleveland, Cal lived in Greensboro and High Point, N.C. for over 40 years before recently moving to Harrison.

A real estate investor for many years, Cal was an avid pilot and was of the Methodist faith and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Quinn, parents, Colin and Frieda Quinn and brother, Pat Quinn.

Survivors are his daughter, Marcia (Sparky) Leamon, Harrison and son, Christopher (Cynthia) Quinn, Ooltewah;  brother, Bill Quinn, Cleveland; sister, Phyllis Barker, Franklin, TN; six grandchildren, Taylor, Corey, Patrick, Crystal, Heather and Elizabeth; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Friday, April 24, at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Bill Mathis and Chaplain Dewayne Renfro officiating. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens, East  with Corey Quinn, Dan Quinn, Bob Quinn, Evans Barker, Johnathan Rue and Benny Malone serving as pallbearers.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga or Hospice of High Point, NC.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 23, from 4-8 p.m., and Friday, from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 E. Brainerd Road.
