Jeffery Max Estes
Funeral services will be Wednesday for an employee of Service Electric Company who was killed along with two fellow employees on Thursday in Florida when a car went out of control.
Jeffery Max Estes, 40, was from Ringgold.
He was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area who graduated from Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe High School Class of 92. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was a member of IBEW Local #175 since 1994 and was a journeyman lineman for more than 15 years. He was also certified as a bare hand lineman.
He leaves behind wife, Jennifer "Jen" Estes of Ringgold; parents, Gary and Martha Estes of Rossville, GA; children, Natasha Estes of Dalton, and Cole Estes of Ringgold.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Minister Chris Barnett officiating. Burial will follow in the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 3-8 p.m. on Tuesday and prior to the service on Wednesday at the W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe.
