Retired From Beaulieu Of America After 43 Years

Mary Jean Rood Wills, 80, of Ringgold, Georgia, died on Tuesday, April 7, 2015.

A lifelong resident of the North Georgia area. She was a former employee of Beaulieu of America where she worked for 43 years and was a member of the Ringgold First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Joel Albert Rood; mother, Louise Partin Rood; son, Mike Wills; sister, JoAnn Fleming and brother, Jimmy Rood.

She is survived by two children, Cathy (Randy) Nix of Marietta, GA., and Chris (Barbara) Wills of Charleston, S.C., and four grandchildren, Jake Nix, Joel Nix, Ericka Wills and Kyle Wills.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Dub Carter officiating. Interment will follow at Anderson Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from noon until funeral time at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to the Catoosa County Fire Department.

Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home Wallis-Stewart Chapel, Ringgold.
