CCS Falls 3-2 In 11 Inning Sectional Baseball Thriller

It took 11 innings to decide the winner of Friday nights Class A/AA sectional baseball game at Loudon.  CCS tied the game at 2-2 in the top of the seventh and Loudon hit the game winner in the bottom 11th to earn the 3-2 win. 

Cody Townson's single scored Jesse Smallen for the win. 

CCS's Josh Taylor had a solo homerun in the top of the second.  Loudon scored one run in the fourth and one in the sixth. 

CCS managed six hits with Jared Miller leading the way with two.  Tucker Elsea had the game tying RBI.  

Zach Mercer pitched seven innings allowing seven hits but just one earned run.  Matthew Mercer pitched three innings and Tucker Elsea one.  

CCS ends the season with a 27-4 record.
