Fausto Anthony Muraira “Tito” Agredano, Jr., 66, of Fort Oglethorpe, died on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at his residence.

He had lived most of his early years in Milpitas, Ca., and the past 30 years in Fort Oglethorpe. Mr. Agredano was a decorated U.S. Army veteran having served during Vietnam and Desert Shield/Storm retiring in 1992 with 23 years of service.  He had worked for Olan Mills, Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Tennessee and H&R Block, was a bouncer at Spanky’s and the Palomino Club, and served the Fort Oglethorpe Police Department as a translator.  He held memberships with St. Gerard Catholic Church & VVA 203, was a supporter of the March of Dimes, and was a racquet ball enthusiast. 

Mr. Agredano was preceded in death by his parents, Josephine and Fausto Agredano, Sr., and sister, Mary Jane Agredano.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Norma Agredano; children, Therese Herriott, Smithville, TN, Tonya Loree Ellis, Chickamauga, and Thomas Anthony Agredano, Rossville; grandchildren, Joshuwa Bryan Ellis, Justin Bradley Ellis, Cory James Agredano, David Preston Herriott, Matthew M. Agredano, and Brittney Nichole Agredano; brothers and sisters, Olivia Stites, Kiki Agredano, Jamie Agredano, Edna Montoya; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 9, at 10 a.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Father Bill Williams officiating.

Interment will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.

The family will receive friends on Thursday and Friday from 4-8 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, at the end of Historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
