Smoke Causes Minimal Damage At Red Bank High School On Sunday

Smoke caused damage at the Red Bank High School on Sunday afternoon.

At 5:30 p.m., fire alarm notified 911 dispatchers of a possible fire at Red Bank High School.

The Red Bank Fire Department responded to 640 Morrison Springs Road and made entry through a steel door to find heavy smoke in the ROTC building area. Fire officials started searching for the source of the fire while other firefighters started ventilating the building with fans.

Red Bank fire officials reported the smoke started in the hallway of the ROTC Building from the motor of a water cooler. Damage to the building was minimum.

Walden's Ridge Emergency Services filled in at Red Bank Station One for any additional emergency calls.

No injuries were reported.
